1. Scope and operator
GoAMEDD.com is a personal, nonofficial resource operated by Marcus Madden to provide general information about Army Medical Department opportunities. It is not an official U.S. Army, Department of Defense, or federal government website.
This policy applies to information processed through visits to GoAMEDD.com, the website contact form, and communications initiated using contact information published on the site. It does not govern official Army systems or third-party websites and services, which have their own privacy notices.
2. Information collected
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form or contact the operator directly, the information collected may include:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your mobile number, if provided
- The recruiting topic you select
- Your message and any other information you choose to include
The contact form is intended only for general questions and initial contact. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification documents, medical information or records, financial information, passwords, security-clearance information, or other sensitive personal information.
Submitting a message through GoAMEDD.com does not submit an Army application or create an official Army record. If official or sensitive information is required, you should be directed to an authorized Army system or approved communication channel governed by its own privacy notice.
Information collected automatically
When you visit or interact with the site, the site and its service providers may automatically process limited technical and security information, including:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser, device, and operating-system information
- Requested pages or resources
- Referring page, when provided by your browser
- Dates and times of requests
- General geographic or network information derived from an IP address
- Security, bot-detection, performance, and diagnostic information
This information is used to deliver and protect the site, prevent abuse, measure aggregate usage, and troubleshoot technical problems. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical and security signals to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.
3. Local storage, analytics, and embedded content
The site stores a small value in your browser’s local storage to remember that you acknowledged the site disclaimer. It does not contain your name, contact information, or an advertising identifier. You can remove it by clearing the site’s stored browser data.
GoAMEDD.com does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, advertising cookies, or cross-context behavioral advertising. The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics is not used by GoAMEDD.com to create advertising profiles of visitors.
Some pages display locally hosted preview images for YouTube videos. The YouTube player is not loaded until you choose to play a video. When the player loads, YouTube may receive technical and interaction information and may use cookies or similar technologies under Google’s privacy practices. Videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Browser settings or content blockers may prevent the player from loading.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Respond to questions and requests
- Provide general recruiting information and arrange requested follow-up
- Direct visitors to appropriate official Army resources or processes
- Deliver and troubleshoot contact-form messages
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Maintain reasonable communication, security, and legal records
- Comply with applicable law and lawful process
Contact information is not used to create advertising profiles or unrelated commercial marketing lists.
5. Service providers and disclosures
GoAMEDD.com uses service providers for website hosting, content delivery, security, bot prevention, aggregate analytics, contact-form email delivery, email hosting, and embedded video. Current providers include Cloudflare, Resend, and YouTube. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services under their own terms and privacy practices.
Information may also be disclosed:
- To authorized technical support personnel when necessary to operate or secure the site
- To authorized Army personnel or systems when you request continued recruiting assistance or begin an official process
- When reasonably necessary to comply with law, lawful process, or a valid government request
- To investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents, or to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the site
6. No sale or targeted advertising
GoAMEDD.com does not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use personal information for targeted advertising or financial incentives.
7. Retention
Contact messages and related correspondence are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain requested communications, protect the site, comply with applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations, or establish and defend legal claims.
Service providers retain information according to their service configurations, contractual obligations, and legal requirements. Information transferred to an official Army system is subject to the retention rules applicable to that system.
8. Privacy requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted through the site by emailing [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request.
Include enough information to locate the relevant communication, such as the email address used and the approximate date of contact. Additional information may be requested to reasonably verify your identity. A request may be limited or denied when required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, protection of another person’s rights, or legal claims.
A request submitted to GoAMEDD.com does not automatically apply to information already entered into an official Army system or held independently by another service. Requests concerning those systems must be directed to the responsible organization.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers and privacy tools send Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, or similar signals. Because GoAMEDD.com does not sell personal information or use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, these signals do not change the site’s own practices.
Third-party font and video services may receive technical information as described above and are not controlled by GoAMEDD.com.
10. Children’s privacy
The site is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 should not submit personal information through the contact form or direct contact methods. If the operator learns that personal information was collected from a child under 13, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it.
11. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information processed through the site, including encrypted transmission, access controls, anti-abuse measures, and restricted logging. No internet transmission, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when site features, providers, legal requirements, or information-handling practices change. The effective date and last-reviewed date will be updated when changes are made. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site or near the contact form.
